Biswanath Chariali: A two-day Book Fair was organized at Biswanath College on September 19 and 20, in collaboration with the Assam Publication Board. The fair was formally inaugurated by Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, Principal of Biswanath College, in the presence of faculty members, students, and book lovers from the locality.

As part of the inaugural programme, a story book entitled “Baah gach, Company aru eta Saadhu” authored by Dr Bhagyashree Gogoi, Assistant Professor was unveiled by Dr. Karabi Gogoi, Associate Professor of Biswanath College. The unveiling marked a highlight of the occasion, celebrating the creative spirit of the academic community.
The book fair witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and readers who explored a wide variety of books displayed by the Assam Publication Board. The event created an engaging platform to encourage reading habits and to promote literary culture in the region.
