Guwahati, March 5: In a fresh political development in Assam, senior leader Karim Uddin Barbhuiya on March 5 announced that he has decided to resign from the All India United Democratic Front.
Barbhuiya made the announcement through a statement shared on social media, saying the decision was taken after consulting people from various sections of society. He stated that the move was made in the interest of maintaining peace and harmony. “Today I have decided to leave the AIUDF. I have taken this decision after consulting with people from different sections of society for the sake of peace and harmony,” he wrote.
