Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri congratulated the entire NRL team on this landmark achievement. In his message, he described NRL as not just a refinery of Assam, but a strategic national asset contributing to India’s energy security.
Puri further noted that the refinery’s performance reflects the vision of Narendra Modi to transform the Northeast into a key driver of the country’s energy growth. The milestone reinforces NRL’s role in strengthening the nation’s refining capacity while positioning Assam as a critical hub in India’s evolving energy sector.
