Kaziranga National Park welcomes Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister

Nagaon: The Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a symbol of pride for Assam and recognised globally as the habitat of the one-horned rhinoceros as well as a unique site of biodiversity and natural resources in the state. 

      Located on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River, the park is home to rhinos, elephants, tigers, wild buffaloes, deer, and hundreds of species of birds and reptiles.

      The park, adorned with nature’s beauty, forest landscape, and pristine environment, attracts tourists from within and outside the country throughout the year. 

       On Sunday, the park was honored by the presence of Dr Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. During his visit to the Bagari Range of the national park, Dr Yadav was warmly welcomed by Nagaon District Commissioner, Debashish Sarma, along with other officials. The people of Assam consider Kaziranga not just a forest area but a living symbol deeply connected to the state’s culture, identity, and nature.

       The Chief Minister’s visit has once again highlighted the glory of Kaziranga, bringing joy and pride to the people of Assam. This visit is expected to further strengthen the bond between Assam and Madhya Pradesh, promoting cultural exchange and tourism.
