Kokrajhar, May 1: The Bodoland People’s Front convened its 94th Central Working Committee meeting on May 1 at the Bodofa Cultural Complex in Kokrajhar, amid heightened political anticipation ahead of the Assam Assembly election results.
The meeting was chaired by Hagrama Mohilary, who led discussions on key organisational matters and preparations in the lead-up to the declaration of results scheduled for May 4.
Senior party leaders and members reviewed the prevailing political scenario in the state, while also deliberating on organisational strategies and outlining the party’s future course of action following the conclusion.
The meeting assumes significance as political parties across Assam await the counting of votes for the 2026 Assembly elections, with outcomes expected to shape the state’s political direction in the coming years.
