Guwahati, May 8: St. Francis De Sales School was honoured as the “Overall Best School (NER)” at the NCC Northeastern Region Annual Awards 2025–26, recognising it as the best NCC institution in the Northeastern Region.
The award ceremony was held on May 4 at the NCC Group Headquarters in Shillong.
S/Q Dilip Subedi of 1 Assam Battalion NCC also received the “Best Male Associate NCC Officer (Assam)” award for his contribution to NCC training and cadet development.
The awards were presented by the NCC Directorate Northeastern Region following an evaluation involving institutions and NCC units from all eight Northeastern states.
The school principal said the recognition reflected the dedication and discipline of the cadets, officers and staff members.
