Itanagar, May 26: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on May 26 chaired the first-ever CM PRAGATI meeting, a platform previously known as e-Pragati, to assess the progress of major infrastructure and strategic projects being implemented across the state.
The review meeting brought together senior officials from various government departments, public sector undertakings, the Border Roads Organisation, National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, along with representatives from power, telecom and oil sector agencies and other executing bodies. Deputy Commissioners from different districts also participated virtually.
Sharing details after the meeting, Khandu said discussions focused on the status of ongoing projects, delays in implementation and coordination-related issues affecting progress.
He stated that the purpose of CM PRAGATI was to strengthen accountability, accelerate execution and ensure timely delivery of projects for the people of the state.
Officials said the meeting concentrated on enhancing coordination among departments while speeding up work on important connectivity, road, power, telecom and development initiatives across Arunachal Pradesh.
The initiative is expected to function as a high-level monitoring mechanism aimed at regularly reviewing project implementation and resolving administrative or logistical bottlenecks, particularly in remote and strategically important regions of the state.
