Kamrup Administration Reviews Preparations for APSC Preliminary Examination at District-Level Coordination Meeting

Kamrup, June 30: The Kamrup district administration convened a coordination meeting at the Conference Hall of the District Commissioner’s Office to assess preparedness for the upcoming Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Combined Competitive Examination (Preliminary).

The meeting was jointly chaired by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Subhasish Baruah and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education) Geetashri Lachit, with discussions centred on ensuring the smooth, secure and transparent conduct of the examination across the district.

Officials reviewed various aspects of the examination arrangements, including the examination schedule, security deployment, transportation and logistics, inter-departmental coordination, manpower deployment and contingency plans to address any operational challenges that may arise during the examination.

During the meeting, the chair underscored the need for close coordination among all departments and stakeholders to ensure that candidates are able to appear for the examination in a safe, fair and hassle-free environment.

The preparedness of designated examination centres was also reviewed, with officials discussing measures to ensure strict adherence to examination protocols while maintaining administrative efficiency throughout the process.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioners, officials from various departments and representatives of schools designated as examination centres, reflecting the district administration’s coordinated efforts to facilitate the successful conduct of the APSC Combined Competitive Examination (Preliminary) in Kamrup.
