Assam Extends Cashless Dialysis Scheme at Empanelled Private Hospitals

Guwahati, June 30: The Assam Government extended the facility of cashless dialysis treatment for eligible patients at empanelled private hospitals until September 30, 2026, under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) and the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana (MMJAY).

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the extension through a post on X, stating that the decision had been taken to ensure that patients requiring regular dialysis continued to receive treatment without interruption.

He also made it clear that dialysis services at government hospitals remained unaffected by the decision and would continue to operate without any change or limitation.

The extension was introduced to guarantee uninterrupted access to essential renal care for eligible beneficiaries and to strengthen the continuity of healthcare services across the state.
