Landslide Blocks NH-13 in Arunachal’s Pakke Kessang, Itanagar–Seppa Road Link Disrupted

A major landslide has blocked National Highway-13 at Pakro village in Arunachal Pradesh’s Pakke Kessang district, disrupting road connectivity between Sagalee and Seppa as well as traffic along the Itanagar–Seppa route.

Following the landslide, Pakke Kessang Police issued a travel advisory stating that the affected stretch of the highway has become completely impassable.

According to the advisory, the district administration has begun restoration work to clear the debris. The operation is expected to take two to three days before traffic movement can be restored on the highway.

Police have advised commuters to avoid non-essential travel through the affected stretch until further notice, as the road will remain closed while restoration work is underway.

Authorities said fresh updates will be issued after the highway is reopened and declared safe for public use. Residents and travellers have also been urged to cooperate with the administration and strictly follow official advisories to ensure their safety.
