Arunachal Pradesh athlete Tingong Wangpan won the gold medal in the Men’s 200m T37 event at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2026 held in Tlaxcala, Mexico, bringing international recognition to the state and the country.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated Wangpan on his achievement and lauded him for making Arunachal Pradesh and India proud through his performance on the global stage.
