Guwahati: In his first public statement since the death of singer Zubeen Garg, Abhimanyu Talukdar, President of the Assam Association of Singapore, has firmly denied any connection between the association and the yacht reportedly linked to the artiste’s final moments.
Talukdar stated that the association has extended full cooperation to the Singapore Police during their investigation, providing access to phone records and testimonies from members. He assured that the organisation remains ready to assist the ongoing probe in Assam as well.
Addressing growing speculation surrounding the case, Talukdar urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified information, emphasising the need to let the investigation proceed without interference. “We are committed to ensuring a fair and transparent investigation and have nothing to hide,” he said.
The statement comes amid intense scrutiny and widespread public concern following the singer’s mysterious death in Singapore, which continues to draw national attention and demands for justice.
