Udalguri-Sonitpur, Aug 1: The first financial assistance distribution programme under the Arunodoi 3.0 scheme for the 2026–27 financial year was held at the Orang VCDC Auditorium in Udalguri district on Saturday.
Organised under the Orang VCDC in the 47 Mazbat Legislative Assembly Constituency, the programme formed part of the statewide rollout of Arunodoi 3.0 following its official launch by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at Khanapara. The scheme aims to strengthen the economic security of financially vulnerable families.
The meeting was conducted by Orang VCDC Secretary Nelson Mosahary. Orang VCDC President Benudhar Adhikari explained the objectives and benefits of the scheme to the beneficiaries.
Among those present were Orang VCDC Vice-President Abu Salem Kanda Boro and several other dignitaries. More than 700 beneficiaries participated in the programme.
