Assam Finance Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah held a meeting with BJP MLAs and Members of the Council Legislative Assembly (MCLAs) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) at Janata Bhawan, with discussions centred on administrative matters and the functioning of the council.
BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary was also present at the meeting, where Baruah underlined the importance of collective action and stronger coordination among elected representatives to ensure effective administration across the BTC region.
The Finance Minister said greater cooperation between the representatives and the council leadership would be essential for strengthening development efforts and advancing the welfare of the people.
The meeting also stressed the need for a unified approach to take the BTC’s development forward while keeping administrative priorities firmly focused on public welfare.
