Guwahati: Raijor Dal president Akhil Gogoi has called upon the public to attend a tribute and justice gathering marking one month since the demise of legendary Assamese singer Zubeen Garg.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page, Gogoi wrote, “Tomorrow is October 19. It will be a month since Zubeen da’s death. A public tribute and justice gathering has been organised on the banks of Dighalipukhuri in Guwahati. Everyone should come.”
The event aims to honour the memory of the singer while demanding justice surrounding his untimely death. The gathering at Dighalipukhuri is expected to see participation from fans, well-wishers, and members of the public who continue to mourn Zubeen Garg’s loss.
