Guwahati: On the auspicious occasion of Kati Bihu, Assam Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, lit an earthen lamp in front of the sacred Tulsi plant at Raj Bhavan today and prayed for the prosperity and wellbeing of all especially the farming community.
Extending his warm wishes to the people of the state, the Governor highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of Kati Bihu, a festival that reflects the deep connection between state’s people with their land. He expressed hope that the light of the festival would bring prosperity, peace, and renewed strength to all.
