SONAPUR, Sept 1: The 1st Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Sonapur, was conferred the prestigious “Best Service Award” on September 1 in recognition of its outstanding service, dedication and contribution to the nation.
The award was presented during a programme organised by Republic NE at the NKC Auditorium, USTM. It was received on behalf of the battalion by Second-in-Command Kh. Ibochouba Singh.
The honour recognised the commitment, professionalism and dedicated efforts of the officers and personnel of the 1st Battalion SSB in discharging their duties.
The award brought recognition to the battalion and further motivated its personnel to continue serving with dedication, discipline and professionalism.
