Accordingly, private vehicles belonging to residents living within a 7-kilometre radius of the toll gate located at Rantholi in Raha will be exempted from paying toll. However, to avail this benefit, residents of the said area will have to obtain a toll pass. For this, they will have to apply to the toll gate authority along with copies of their Aadhaar card, Voter ID card and Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC). The toll gate authorities have been given necessary instructions in this regard.

It is worth mentioning that two days ago, when a section of people from the Raha area staged a protest at the toll gate, the District Commissioner  had reached the spot and assured the public in this regard.
