Two women-led products from Tripura have gained wider visibility after being featured in IndiGo’s in-flight magazine, Hello 6E, showcasing the state’s rural enterprises to travellers across the airline’s network.
Khachuk Chocolate from South Tripura and Butterfly Pea Flower Tea from Gomati district featured in the September 2026 edition of the magazine. The products were developed by women Self-Help Group (SHG) members under the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM).
Women SHG members from South Tripura produce Khachuk Chocolate, while members of Star Mahila Dal in Gomati make the Butterfly Pea Flower Tea.
TRLM said in a social media post that the recognition highlighted the potential of women-led enterprises in Tripura and efforts to turn local resources and innovative ideas into marketable products.
The feature also provided a boost to initiatives promoting entrepreneurship and livelihood opportunities among rural women through SHG programmes.
TRLM said the achievement reflected the collective effort and entrepreneurial spirit of the women members, whose products were reaching consumers beyond Tripura.
