DHAKUAKHANA, Sept 8: A 62-year-old businessman, Pawan Jain, popularly known as Puniya, went missing from Dhakuakhana town on Tuesday, prompting police to launch a search.
Jain reportedly disappeared around 1 pm from the busy town centre. He is the brother of businessman Prakash Jain of Baligaon and was known among local traders and residents.
Police have accessed CCTV footage capturing Jain’s last known movements and are examining it for clues to trace his whereabouts. A case has been registered and an investigation launched.
Meanwhile, Jain’s family appealed to the public for information about his whereabouts. Anyone who has seen him or has any information has been requested to contact the family at 99574 92624 or inform the local police.
