The 1st Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Sonapur, organised an awareness programme on recruitment opportunities in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) for women at Lokhra village on September 11.
Organised by “E” Company, Lokhra, under the guidance of Commandant Sunil Kaushik, the programme was attended by 22 SSB personnel and around 25–30 local residents.
Participants were briefed on employment opportunities in the CAPFs, recruitment procedures, eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, physical standards and other requirements. Local women were encouraged to explore the opportunities and participate in the recruitment process.
The programme aimed to create awareness among women about careers in the CAPFs and encourage their participation in national service. The 1st Battalion SSB said it regularly organised such programmes to educate and empower local youth and women about employment opportunities.
