Tripura’s Dhalai district experienced a 3.8-magnitude earthquake early on Sunday, October 4, with no immediate reports of casualties or property damage.
According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the tremor was recorded at 12:57:38 am at a depth of 30 km. The epicentre was located in Dhalai at 23.757°N latitude and 91.995°E longitude.
The NCS released the details shortly after detecting the earthquake. No major disruption was reported from the affected area.
