Posters of Zubeen Garg’s Upcoming Film ‘Roi Roi Binale’ Vandalised in Kokrajhar, Fans Outraged

Kokrajhar: In a shocking act of vandalism, unidentified miscreants tore down posters of Assam’s beloved singer Zubeen Garg’s upcoming film Roi Roi Binale in Kokrajhar town on Wednesday night.

The incident occurred at Courtpara, where nearly 50 posters of the film, put up by Zubeen’s fans, were found ripped off from a wall. The wall in question lies within the premises of the SBI Bank, which is equipped with CCTV cameras.

Fans of the late singer were stunned to discover the damage and promptly alerted the police, who arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation.

Outraged by the act, Zubeen’s admirers have demanded that the culprits be traced and brought to justice without delay.

This marks the second instance of vandalism in Kokrajhar in recent days. Earlier, miscreants had defaced a wall painting of Zubeen Garg near the Kokrajhar Sadar Police Station, an incident that drew widespread criticism from his supporters and the public alike.

The repeated targeting of tributes to Zubeen Garg has sparked anger and sadness among his fans, who continue to celebrate his legacy across Assam and the Northeast.
