New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned the deadly car explosion that shook Delhi on Monday evening, vowing that the perpetrators will face the harshest punishment.
Speaking during his visit to Bhutan, the Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy, saying, “The horrific incident that took place in Delhi yesterday evening has deeply saddened everyone. The entire nation stands with the affected families today.”
Modi said he had been in continuous touch with investigating agencies since the incident, assuring that the conspiracy behind the blast would be fully uncovered. “Our agencies will get to the bottom of this. The conspirators will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice,” he said.
The explosion, which occurred near the Red Fort area, claimed several lives and left many injured. National security and intelligence agencies have launched a high-level probe to determine the motive and network involved in the attack.
