With Panchayat elections drawing closer, Women & Child Development, Art & Culture, and Science & Technology Minister Dasanglu Pul, who also represents Anjaw district in the Legislative Assembly, carried out an extensive outreach campaign across remote villages on December 6. The minister visited Taflagam, Chaglagum, and Mailiang, where she met residents, interacted with local communities, and appealed for support for BJP candidates contesting in the upcoming polls.
Villagers welcomed Minister Pul with warmth and assured their full backing for the party, particularly for Gogrem Hagabre, the BJP’s nominee for Zilla Parishad Member (ZPM) from Changlagam Circle. The encouraging response from residents, the minister said, reflects the community’s trust in the government’s development agenda and reinforces her commitment to improving the district’s overall progress.
Several senior party leaders and election coordinators accompanied her during the campaign. Among them were BJP Election Observer Hínum Tachu, Bakhem Tawsik, former Vice Chairman of Biodiversity Arunachal Pradesh Mailu Tega, ZPM Chaglagam, Anandso Tayang, BJP Anjaw Secretary, along with local karyakartas and former ZPMs.
Speaking to the media, Minister Pul underlined the government’s focus on inclusive governance and stronger Panchayati Raj institutions. She added that the administration intends to ensure that developmental initiatives reach every village, emphasising that grassroots empowerment remains central to the state’s long-term vision.
