Nagaon: Master Suaid Al Munib, a young and talented Taekwondo athlete from Assam, has brought laurels to the state by securing a Bronze Medal in the Under-10 Boys (25–30 kg) category at the 40th National Level Taekwondo ITF Championship, held at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, from 28 to 30 December 2025. The prestigious event witnessed participation from competitors across the country in front of Taekwondo experts arriving from Korea, Australia, United Kingdom Taewan and Cyprus besides Indian experts.
The promising sportsperson is the son of Dr M K Rahman and S S A Ahmed of Village Hatimuria, Moirabari in Morigaon district. A meritorious student, Master Munib is presently studying at Army Public School, Shankar Vihar, New Delhi. This national-level success adds to his consistent record of achievements in Taekwondo.

Earlier, he clinched the Gold Medal at the 36th Delhi State Level Taekwondo Championship, 2025 held at Thyagraj Stadium, New Delhi and also earned a Silver Medal at the 16th Inter-School Taekwondo Competition 2025, held at Laxman Public School , Hauz Khas, New Delhi. Notably, his sister Miss Munam Zaufishan also clinched Bronze Medal in 36th Delhi State Level Taekwondo Championship, 2025 under sub-junior group.
