Nagaon: A blood donation camp was organised at Kampur on the occasion of Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s 57th birthday today. The event was jointly organised by the Rewati Mohan Borthakur Foundation and the Nagaon Bhogeswari Phukanani Civil Hospital’s Blood Bank.

Around 50 youth participated in the camp, donating blood to help the needy. Certificates were presented to the donors by the hospital authorities at the end of the event. In a statement, Bibhuti Bhushan Borthakur, organiser of the Foundation, thanked the Blood Bank team and the youth who came from various panchayats in Kampur to donate blood, making the event a success.
