PM Modi’s Vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 Inspires Students, Says Tripura CM Manik Saha

Agartala, Feb 7: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on February 6 said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 continues to motivate students and instil confidence among young minds, helping them approach examinations and life with greater clarity and less stress.

Saha was speaking after watching the Prime Minister’s Pariksha Pe Charcha interaction with students at Bardowali School. Describing the programme as thoughtful and encouraging, the Chief Minister said such engagements play a crucial role in reducing exam pressure while strengthening students’ confidence and focus. He noted that the Prime Minister’s emphasis on the collective role of youth, teachers and parents, along with skill development, forms the backbone of the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.

Highlighting the state’s efforts to align with this approach, Saha said Tripura is implementing several education-focused initiatives through the Tripura Board of Secondary Education. He specifically mentioned the Sharish programme, which is being rolled out for students from Classes 1 to 8 to strengthen foundational learning.

Referring to key messages from the Prime Minister’s interaction, Saha said students were encouraged to dream big and pursue their goals with dedication. He added that while artificial intelligence can be a useful tool, students should not rely entirely on it and must instead develop confidence from within, as emphasised by Modi.

The Chief Minister also pointed out that the Prime Minister shared important guidance for teachers, underlining the need to focus on confidence-building, effective time management and reducing anxiety among students. He said Modi highlighted cleanliness as a core value, noting that if children develop habits of keeping their surroundings clean, it can create a lasting positive impact on society.

Saha said platforms such as Mann Ki Baat, held on the last Sunday of every month, and Pariksha Pe Charcha, conducted annually, have become effective mediums for meaningful engagement with students, parents and educators. He stressed that parents should prioritise life skills and holistic development alongside academic performance.

He further added that the Prime Minister advised teachers to inform students in advance about upcoming lessons, enabling better preparation and easing academic stress, a practice that could significantly improve learning outcomes.
