Guwahati: The much-awaited results for 7,650 Grade III posts under the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) were declared today at 10:30 AM. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their results on the official Assam Government website — assam.gov.in.
Addressing the media, Additional Chief Secretary Ajay Tiwari said that the result sheets will clearly indicate whether candidates are “qualified” or “not qualified.” He informed that the skill tests were conducted with support from three key agencies — AMTRON for computer proficiency, the Transport Department for driving assessments, and ITI for stenography evaluations.

Tiwari further added that successful candidates will be allotted government departments based on their merit positions. Among the 50 departments participating in the recruitment process, the Agriculture Department has the highest number of vacancies and will accommodate a large share of the newly recruited staff.
Highlighting the state’s commitment to transparency, Tiwari confirmed that charge sheets have already been filed in cases where irregularities or misconduct were detected during the recruitment process.
In a related development, the Additional Chief Secretary announced that the recruitment process for 625 posts under Assam Police has also been completed. The results for these posts will be published at 11:30 AM today on the official website of the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) — www.slprb.com.

Out of the total 6,239 police vacancies, results for the remaining 5,614 posts are scheduled to be released tomorrow. Tiwari clarified that the ADRE and Assam Police recruitments are separate processes, both aimed at ensuring fair and efficient selection across government departments.
