Guwahati, March 10: The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) released its initial list of candidates for the upcoming Assam Legislative Assembly elections, covering nine constituencies across the state.
The party has named Aminul Islam for Rupahihat, Rafiqul Islam for Manida, Minakshi Rahman for Paka Betbari, and Abu Taber Bepari for Parbatjhora. Nizanur Rahman will contest from Gauripur, Rejaul Karim Sarkar from Srijangram, Matiur Rahman from Dhing, Sabana Aktar from Bilasipara, and Siddique Ahmed from Laharighat.
With this announcement, AIUDF has formally begun its preparations for the Assam Assembly elections. The party is expected to release further candidate lists in the coming days as the electoral process advances.
