Guwahati, March 28: Utpal Nath has been expelled from the Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad following allegations of activities that violated the organisation’s constitution.
In an official notice, the Morigaon District Committee of AJYCP announced Nath’s removal from his position as General Secretary of the Bhuragaon Regional Committee with immediate effect. The order also confirmed the termination of his primary membership in the organisation.
The committee stated that the action was taken after it found Nath’s conduct to be inconsistent with the organisation’s constitutional framework. The decision has been formally communicated to relevant office bearers and district-level leaders.
Reiterating its stance, the organisation said it would continue to take strict action against any member found acting against its principles and established guidelines.
