Itanagar: The Arunachal Olympic Association (AOA) has announced that all upcoming Arunachal State Games will be organized in coordination with the Sports Authority of Arunachal (SAA) and the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs.
The decision was taken during the annual general meeting (AGM) of the AOA held on Saturday, the association stated in a release. The AOA also welcomed Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s earlier announcement that the State Games will now be held annually instead of every two years, a move aimed at providing athletes with more consistent opportunities for competition and exposure.
