Guwahati, Aug 20: The Assam government has announced the schedule for the seventh edition of Gunotsav, with the statewide school evaluation exercise set to be conducted in three phases across 35 districts between January and February 2027.
The first phase will be held from January 6 to 9 in 13 districts, while the second phase will run from January 19 to 22 across 12 districts. The final phase will be conducted from February 2 to 5 in the remaining 10 districts.
Gunotsav aims to assess school-level performance and evaluate the overall quality of education in government schools across Assam. The phased exercise will enable authorities to conduct evaluations across the districts over a defined period, with the final phase scheduled to conclude on February 5, 2027.
