Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will be meeting the Singapore Ambassador in New Delhi later this month to discuss the ongoing investigation into the death of renowned singer Zubeen Garg. The meeting aims to strengthen cooperation with Singaporean authorities and expedite the probe.
CM Sarma assured that the Assam Police will file the chargesheet within the stipulated three-month period, ensuring justice is served for Zubeen Garg. He emphasized that no one will be spared and all accused will be arrested and placed before the court.

The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of obtaining crucial evidence, including CCTV footage from the hotel and yacht, as well as statements from the yacht sailors. He expressed confidence that Singapore will cooperate with the investigation, given the good relations between Assam and Singapore.
