Guwahati: Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, interacted with students and teachers of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Nagaland, who visited Lok Bhavan as part of the National Integration Tour under Operation Sadbhavana at a programme held here today.
Talking to the students, Governor Acharya said that the Sadbhavana tour helps young people understand India’s rich diversity, culture, and traditions while strengthening the spirit of unity in diversity. Organised by the 45 Assam Rifles, he appreciated the role of the Assam Rifles in organizing the tour programme under Operation Sadbhavana, which connects youth from remote and border areas with the national mainstream and inspires them to become responsible citizens.

Encouraging the students to dream big, the Governor urged them to pursue education with dedication and contribute actively to the development of the nation. He also called upon the students to share their experiences with others and spread the message of harmony, unity, and brotherhood.
The Governor expressed hope that the exposure the students got and experience thus gained during the tour would help the students develop confidence, broaden their perspectives, and prepare them to play a meaningful role in nation-building. He also thanked the 45 Assam Rifles, teachers, and organisers for providing such a valuable learning experience to the students and wished them a bright future.
