Assam Team Set to Compete at Pickleball Nationals 2025 in Bengaluru

Guwahati: The Assam Pickleball Association proudly announces the 25-member Assam contingent that will participate in the Pickleball Nationals 2025, scheduled to be held from November 13 to 16 at The Sports School, Bengaluru.

The championship is hosted by the Karnataka Pickleball Association, under the aegis of the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS) and the Sports Authority of India (SAI).

The Team will be led by Captain Nazneen Rahman and Team Manager Bulbul Das. Team Assam comprises top players selected through the State Selection Trials conducted on October 4 & 5, representing the state across the following categories: U-16 Boys, U-16 Girls, Men’s Open, 30+ Men & Women, 40+ Men & Women, and 50+ Men.

All players will also participate in individual events, showcasing their dedication, teamwork, and competitive spirit as they aim to bring glory to Assam on the national stage.

The Assam Pickleball Association extends its best wishes to all players and officials representing the state at this prestigious national championship.

Gogoi also announced a special cultural tribute to late singer Zubeen Garg titled “Kanchanjungha – Sanskriti Houk Maitriyor Mantra”, to be held on November 18 in Guwahati, along with a Nahor sapling plantation drive across all polling booths in his memory.
