Bajali: The NCC ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate distribution ceremony was held at B.H.B. College, Sarupeta, on Thursday. The programme, anchored by cadet Ankita Deka, brought together faculty members, officers, and cadets to celebrate the achievements of the students.
Principal Dr. Nayan Jyoti Das delivered an inspiring address, speaking about the benefits of NCC training, including health awareness, personality development, and self-growth. IQAC Coordinator Dr. Dipul Talukdar also spoke on the occasion, while Lieutenant ANO Biswajit Deka highlighted the values of discipline and unity that NCC instills in young people. CTO Hiranmayee Kalita extended her congratulations to the cadets and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
A total of 15 cadets were awarded the ‘B’ certificate and 10 cadets received the ‘C’ certificate this year. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the NCC theme song “Ham Sab Bharatiya Hain,” followed by a vote of thanks delivered by third-year cadet Devarshi Kalita.
The event not only recognized the dedication of the cadets but also underlined the role of NCC in building confident, disciplined, and socially responsible citizens.
