Guwahati: A delegation from the Government of Bangladesh arrived at the Zubeen Kshetra on Wednesday to offer a heartfelt tribute to the music legend, Zubeen Garg. The delegation was led by Priti Rahman, the Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh, who offered floral tributes and observed a moment of silence, showing deep respect for the beloved artist.
Expressing the profound impact of Garg’s work, Rahman remarked that the artist’s music had successfully transcended borders, resonating deeply and touching hearts in Bangladesh as much as in India. She underscored the enduring quality of his creations, stating, “His songs carried the essence of humanity, culture, and emotion, he will always be remembered with love.”
The presence of the Bangladeshi representative at the memorial highlighted the far-reaching influence of Zubeen Garg’s artistry and the shared grief that followed his passing.
