Biswajit Daimary Begins Campaign in Tamulpur, Set to File Nomination

Tamulpur: With a strong focus on development, NDA candidate Biswajit Daimary has kickstarted his election campaign for the No. 43 Tamulpur Assembly constituency and is set to file his nomination papers tomorrow. Following the official announcement of candidates by the BJP-led alliance, Daimary received a warm welcome from supporters at his residence, where he expressed gratitude to the party leadership, including Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Hagrama Mohilary, and Dilip Saikia, for placing their trust in him.

Describing Tamulpur as his birthplace, Daimary said his primary goal is the all-round development of the region. He assured that with support from the state government and the Bodoland Territorial Region leadership, efforts would be made to address long-standing issues and accelerate progress. He appealed to voters to support the NDA in the interest of development, stating that being in opposition often hinders growth initiatives. Referring to the electoral contest with Promod Boro of the UPPL, Daimary said the electorate would decide their preferred leadership, highlighting Boro’s multiple roles as an MCLA and Rajya Sabha MP.
