Nagaon: Minister Krishnandu Paul, the guardian minister of Nagaon, addressed the local media at the District Commissioner’s office after a review meeting with the official heads of various departments today here.
He stated that there has been no corruption in the recruitment process of teachers in Nagaon. The Assam government has been conducting transparent recruitment processes, and the District Commissioner has been instructed to oversee the process.
Regarding the upcoming Assembly elections, Paul said that the BJP will win more than 90 seats and form the government again. He criticized the Congress party’s comments on voter list revision, saying that the party thinks it can form a government by getting votes from Bangladesh, but the people of Assam won’t let that happen. “The BJP government will stay in power in Assam for the next 100 years. The Congress is no longer relevant in the state. Only the BJP government can provide security, development, and peace to the people of Assam,” Paul added.
He also informed that Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Nagaon on December 21 and 22 to inaugurate the multi crores Batadroba project. The minister also stated that the BJP does not want to politicize the demise of iconic singer Zubeen Garg. Krishnandu Paul assured that the government is committed to providing a transparent and corruption-free environment in the state.
