Nagaon: In a thrilling semifinal match, Thabal FC of Hojai edged past Morigaon DCCFA by a 4-3 margin in the 28th Bodo Martyrs’ Cup Football Tournament being held at Garoimari stadium in Langhin, Karbi Anglong.
Aten Meitei’s hat-trick and Raj Boy goal helped Thabal FC secure a spot in the final. Morigaon DCFCA’s Mridul Das scored two goals, while Moneswar Mahilary added one.

The match was officiated by referee Dhanesh Shah, assisted by Prem Narzary, Sankar Terang and Aman Bordoloi.
Aten Meitei was adjudged the man of the match. The second semi final match of the tournament, on Thursday, Phulani Sports Association will play against KFC, Nagaon district.
The event has seen participation from teams across Assam, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.
