Bollywood Icon Dharmendra Passes Away at 89 in Mumbai

Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, fondly known as the “He-Man of Bollywood,” passed away on Monday night at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, aged 89.

According to reports, the legendary actor had been battling a prolonged illness and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit on Monday afternoon after his health worsened. Despite medical efforts, he passed away later that night.

Dharmendra’s illustrious career spanned more than six decades, during which he delivered unforgettable performances in classics such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Phool Aur Patthar, and Satyakam. Celebrated for his charm, versatility, and enduring screen presence, he remains one of the most beloved figures in Indian cinema.
