Guwahati, August 15: The CBSE Regional Office, Guwahati, celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm, featuring cultural performances by students of Guwahati Public School.
The students presented patriotic songs, including “Jai Ho” and “Vande Mataram”, drawing appreciation from those present and adding to the spirit of the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, CBSE Regional Officer Sandeep Tandon extended Independence Day greetings and highlighted the significance of the occasion, stressing the values of unity, responsibility and dedication towards the nation.
The programme was conducted in an atmosphere of patriotism and national pride, with the National Song and National Anthem marking the celebrations. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the event memorable for those present.
