Dima Hasao: Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today inaugurated a state-of-the-art cricket stadium featuring a 15,000-seat earthen gallery in the scenic hills of Umrangso. Developed by the Assam Cricket Association (ACA), the stadium also includes the newly built Senga Tularam Pavilion, marking a major boost to sporting infrastructure in the district. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister announced that a new football stadium would soon be constructed adjacent to the cricket ground, creating a twin-stadium sports hub in Umrangso.
