Guwahati, Feb 26: A violent domestic dispute in Sukhati Khata village under the Gauripur area of Dhubri district has left a woman critically injured and triggered significant communal anxiety. The confrontation, which occurred during the holy month of Ramadan, reportedly escalated from a verbal disagreement between two local groups into a targeted physical attack. The victim, identified as Sakina Bibi, was allegedly ambushed by a group of four individuals: Sarejahan Ali, Manju Ali, Mominur Ali, and Amir Hussain. Witnesses claim the assailants used a combination of bamboo sticks, iron rods, and sharp weapons to carry out the assault, leaving the victim with severe injuries.
