Guwahati: Senior Congress leader Debabrata Saikia on Tuesday firmly dismissed speculation about switching political sides, asserting that his political journey remains rooted in public service, principles, and policy commitments rather than personal benefit.Speaking to reporters, Saikia emphasized that true political participation should revolve around serving the people and upholding ideological commitments. He stated that his beliefs and political convictions prevent him from aligning with a party he feels contributes to such divisions, making it clear that he has no plans to leave the Indian National Congress.
