Dhakuakhana, Sept 21: Ujjal Dutta, a 39-year-old youth from Dhakuakhana, died after suffering a sudden illness, casting a pall of gloom over the region.
According to reports, Dutta was initially admitted to Dhakuakhana Civil Hospital after falling ill. As his condition deteriorated, doctors referred him to Dibrugarh for advanced medical treatment. He was subsequently admitted to Sankardeva Hospital in Dibrugarh, where he died while undergoing treatment.
Dutta had been working as a contractual driver with the Assam Power and Electricity Department for several years. He was known for his dedicated service and friendly nature and was respected by colleagues and local residents.
He leaves behind his elderly parents, wife and young son. Relatives, local residents and various organisations expressed grief over his untimely death and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
