Dhubri Teacher Found Dead on Railway Track After Exposing Corruption

Dhubri/Silchar: The mysterious death of a Dhubri teacher has triggered shockwaves and widespread outrage, with his family members alleging foul play and demanding a high-level investigation.

The deceased, Arindam Kundu, a resident of IG Road in Dhubri and employed as a teacher in Silchar, was found dead on a railway track in Silchar on Thursday. His sudden death has raised serious suspicions, especially after his recent Facebook Live video, in which he accused the Assam Government’s education sector of being mired in corruption.

In the video, Kundu had alleged that “no work is implemented, only money has been symphonic, corruption at its highest,” further naming several individuals whom he held responsible for malpractices.

Rejecting the possibility of suicide or accident, the family termed the incident a “cold-blooded eviction” and appealed to the Chief Minister for an impartial, high-level inquiry. They expressed fears that without such intervention, the real circumstances behind Kundu’s death would remain hidden.
