“Ekta Bhawan” Inaugurated at Yazali Police Station to Strengthen Community-Police Interaction

Itanagar, May 15: A new community interaction facility named “Ekta Bhawan” was inaugurated at Yazali Police Station in Arunachal Pradesh’s Keyi Panyor district on May 14 in the presence of district officials, police personnel and local residents.

The inauguration programme featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, unveiling of the foundation plaque and a plantation drive organised within the police station premises.

Among those present at the event were Shweta Nagarkoti, Angad Mehta, and Nabam Piju along with other local representatives and community leaders.

Speaking during the programme, IPS probationer Anurag Chopra said the newly established facility has been designed as a platform to encourage interaction and communication between police personnel and local residents.

During the event, speakers highlighted the importance of public participation, trust-building and stronger coordination between citizens and law enforcement agencies in addressing local issues and maintaining security in the region.

The programme concluded with an interaction session between officials and members of the public, followed by refreshments.
