DIBRUGARH, Oct 26: A roadside eatery near the Dibrugarh judicial court was completely gutted in a fire on Sunday, but firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading to the adjoining court complex.
The fire spread rapidly through the establishment, destroying its contents before fire tenders could bring the flames under control. The situation intensified when a cooking gas cylinder inside the eatery exploded.
Firefighters launched an operation to contain the blaze and prevent it from reaching nearby buildings. Their efforts ensured that the judicial court complex remained unaffected.
